COOKING 2-3 MINS
125ml (4fl oz) water
125g (4oz) caster sugar
300g (10oz) hulled and halved strawberries
Optional: 1 tablespoon orange-flavoured alcohol
1. Bring the water and caster sugar to the boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
2. Add the hulled and halved strawberries and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until soft.
3. Purée the mixture and, if desired, stir in
1 tablespoon of orange-flavoured alcohol.
4. Store in the fridge for up to 2 days. Serve with ice cream or pancakes.
